We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal to join our legal team in Perkasie, Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting attorneys in multiple practice areas, including estate administration, personal injury, insurance, and family law, and will thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities- Investigate and analyze all aspects of discovery
- Obtain, review, and summarize medical records
- Draft and propound discovery requests and prepare responses
- Prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
- Conduct file assessment, valuation, and recommendations
- Organize and produce documents for attorney use
- Prepare exhibits and assist attorneys at trial
- Manage all aspects of estate administration, from probate through Pennsylvania Inheritance Tax filings
- Accurately track time and maintain billable hour requirements
- Minimum 2 years of paralegal experience (estate administration and insurance defense preferred)
- Experience with timekeeping and billable hour requirements
- Knowledge of court rules and procedures
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities independently
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
- Familiarity with case management software; Clio, Lackner, and Microsoft Office experience preferred
