What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Service Worker 2 position at Weber Human Services?
The Aging Services Department of Weber Human Services (WHS) is located in Ogden, Utah. WHS was organized by a cooperative agreement between the Weber and Morgan County governments to serve as a local authority for provision of their substance abuse, mental health and senior (Aging) services.
We provide opportunities and support for the senior citizens of Weber and Morgan Counties to increase their quality of life and extend their independence. Our programs are delivered with sensitivity to the frail elderly and those who have the greatest social and economic needs.

Assists Food Service Worker 3 with food preparation. Preparation may include hot or cold foods. This position includes weighing, measuring, mixing, panning, cooking, and baking ingredients.
This position also includes packaging prepared items for bulk meal delivery and/or packaging for homebound delivery.
There is mandatory general cleaning and sanitizing of work areas, work surfaces, equipment.
Works in an institutional kitchen environment.
Exposure to hot cooking surfaces and extreme temperature changes.
Exposure to sharp objects and electrical equipment.
Possible contact with infectious diseases.
May handle potentially hazardous cleaning supplies.
Constantly on feet throughout the workday.
Pushes medium to large carts with pans of food products.
Moderate to heavy lifting and handling of hot food products.
Must be able to safely lift 50 pounds.
A Utah valid driver licenses.
This position requires a valid food handlers permit from local health department.
