What are the responsibilities and job description for the Children's Dance Instructor position at WEBBY Dance Company?
We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated Dance/Gymnastics Instructors to join the WEBBY Dance Company team!
Our mission is to enrich the lives of children through movement by providing engaging dance and gymnastics classes at local schools, childcare centers, and after-school programs. We offer comprehensive training with our unique curriculum and provide a fun, energetic, and positive work environment. Not a-seasonal position.
We offer part-time and full time opportunities , with a flexible schedule with no weekend or evening work, and recognition of school holidays. We are looking for individuals who can start right away.
Key responsibilities include:
* Traveling to various school locations.
* Ensuring punctuality, dependability, and reliability.
* Delivering action-packed class plans that actively engage students using the WEBBY curriculum.
* Demonstrating excellent communication skills with school staff and the WEBBY Team.
* Maximizing student attendance and introducing as many children as possible to our programs.
* Portraying the company’s brand and mission with the utmost integrity.
Requirements for this position include:
* Experience working with young children.
* A background in dance or gymnastics.
* A current Driver's License and a reliable vehicle.
* The ability to pass a background check.
While not required, a background in Early Childhood Education is a plus. This is a part-time, contract position with pay ranging from $40.00 to $60.00 per hour ($20.00-$30.00 per 30 minute class). We look forward to hearing from you!
