What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Service Technician position at WebbTek?
We are looking for a technician with a wide range of IT Support Experience, from hardware to software troubleshooting, to configuration and system management. If you have a good base of technical knowledge and are willing to train on a mix of old technology and the latest technology then you are what we are looking for. This will involve a troubleshooter's mindset that is willing to think creatively to solve problems and deploy solutions.
This will start as a dispatch position with part-time hours, but this could grow into something much bigger if you apply yourself correctly.
Requirements:
Must be able to lift 50lbs or more.
Must be able to follow detailed directions.
Must dress and behave in a professional manner. (Collared Shirts and khakis or blue jeans without tears or holes.)
Tools and Equipment Required:
Must have as many of your own tools as possible including:
6ft ladder
label maker
network cable testing equipment
general tools (hammer, screw drivers, etc.)
Restrictions:
We do not supply a car, but mileage will be fairly reimbursed.
We do not supply a work phone.
This is a dispatch/work as needed position.
