Webb Utility Contractors LLC is expanding our operations in Weatherford, TX and seeking an experienced Underground Telecommunications Supervisor to lead field crews, maintain production, and ensure safe, high-quality work on underground fiber projects.
We’re looking for a hands-on leader who understands underground telecom construction and can confidently manage people, workflow, and daily job requirements.
What You’ll Do
- Supervise underground fiber construction crews in daily operations
- Ensure safety, quality, and production goals are met
- Complete and verify daily production reports, bore logs, as-builts, and redlines
- Review and interpret prints, stationing, conduit packages, and engineering drawings
- Coordinate with inspectors, subcontractors, employees and project managers
- Lead jobsite safety meetings and oversee locate compliance
- Mentor and train crew members, promoting strong performance and communication
- Identify issues in the field and implement solutions quickly
What You Bring
- Experience in underground telecommunications or utility construction (required)
- Strong knowledge of HDD operations, trenching, plowing, and restoration
- Proven leadership or supervisory experience
- Ability to read prints, maps, and job documentation
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred)
- Ability to travel within the Columbus area
