COMMENTS FROM PRIOR INTERNS:
Working at Webb & Bordson was the best internship I've had when it comes to hands on experience. Lenden F. Webb is an accomplished attorney who truly cares about his interns. He takes time to work with you and answer any questions you have. You really can't ask for a better supervisor who has a great understanding of the law. From Day 1 you are exposed to real clients and real cases, which gives you a real understanding of how the legal system works...things that you just don't learn in the classroom. Above all, the staff at Webb and Bordson is second to none. Everyone is friendly, motivated, and more than willing to help when needed. This is a great environment to learn and grow in. My time at Webb and Bordson has really helped prepare me for my future legal career. ~Liam Hoyt
If you are looking for an internship that gives you tons of practical legal experience, law clerking for Webb & Bordson, APC will accomplish that goal. Mr. Webb allows his law clerks to take on a high level of practical responsibility in dealing with client matters. This drastically increased my knowledge and experience in actually “practicing” law. Mr. Webb provides tremendous feedback on the projects you submit as a law clerk and has a genuine interest in advancing your legal education. All the other attorneys and support staff who work in his offices are extremely helpful, nice, and welcoming. I enjoyed going to work everyday because there was always a project to work on and Mr. Webb promotes a laid-back, but professional office atmosphere. I would strongly recommend interning with Webb & Bordson, you will not regret it! ~Michael Christopher
Because the firm is so small it creates a very welcoming and close atmosphere between all employees. Roger Clayton and Brooke Baquial are both very humble attorneys and truly care about the education and legal development of all law clerks taken on by the firm. Lenden Webb also takes an in-depth interest in law clerks, his door is always open and he is always ready and willing to offer any kind of aid that can be provided. He is an extremely caring and understanding person and employer. On top of the in-depth interest that Mr. Webb takes in his employees he also takes the time to record training videos, post how-to emails and simply hold training sessions in his office for potentially confusing tasks. Because of Mr. Webb’s intention to make sure all employees are well trained and taken care of the transition into the office takes far less time than one would expect. Overall, the summer internship offered by Webb & Bordson was an invaluable experience. I believe law school offers the education needed to become an attorney, however law school does not offer the experience needed to become an attorney. I truly believe Webb & Bordson offered me the above-described experience needed to become an attorney. Webb & Bordson’s law clerk internship helped me become familiar with the procedural and strategic steps taken through litigation as well as how to use those skills to become a more competent law student and future attorney. I would readily recommend Webb & Bordson’s law clerk internship to any law student seeking an internship opportunity. ~Ethan Freeman
My experience with working at Webb & Bordson was more than I imagined. I was given hands on experience with researching and drafting motions. I was able to see my work product argued in court and it was by far one of the most rewarding experiences during my law school career. In addition, Lenden allowed me to interact with clients on a consistent basis. Hands down the best internship I have had thus far! ~Mahna Pourshaban
