The Role
We're looking for a personable, detail-oriented insurance professional to join our team as a Personal Lines Insurance Advisor. You'll manage an active book of business — handling renewals, coverage questions, policy changes, and cross-sell opportunities for clients who already know and trust our agency. This is a client-facing role that blends customer service with account management and advisory responsibilities.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain relationships with current clients through inbound calls, texts, and emails
- Review and process policy changes, endorsements, and cancellations
- Advise clients on personal lines coverage — home, auto, umbrella, and more
- Quote and bind new business and cross-sell additional lines where it genuinely benefits the client
- Monitor renewals and proactively reach out for coverage reviews before issues arise
- Partner with carriers to resolve underwriting questions
- Keep accurate, up-to-date records in our agency management system
What You Bring
- Active 2-20, 4-40, or 20-44 Property & Casualty insurance license (required)
- At least 1 year of personal lines experience (2–4 years preferred)
- Solid understanding of personal lines products and underwriting guidelines
- Comfort learning new systems quickly — AMS, raters, and carrier portals
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- A service-first mindset and genuine interest in building long-term client relationships
