Parts Counterperson – Full Time
- Monday- 9:00 am - 7:00 pm
- Tuesday-Thursday- 10:00 am - 7:00 pm
- Saturday- 7:30 am - 4:00 pm

Responsibilities
- Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish
- Communicate with customers on parts status
- Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up
- Review body shop estimates to be sure the parts that are ordered are correct and all pricing is in line with the estimate
- Receive and process payment from retail customers or obtaining credit authorization
- Pull and fill orders from stock
- Read and understand the parts catalog when looking up parts
- Maintain weekly bin checks to ensure accuracy of stock
- Notify parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention
- Locate out-of-stock parts from outside source and submit an emergency order, if necessary
- Make sure all authorized requests for parts are billed on service repair order
- Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls; provide price quotes and other information
- Provide high level service to internal and external customers
- Ensure all warranty parts are returned and tagged according to the manufacturer's guidelines
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Experience with auto parts sales preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
- Must have a clean driving record and hold a valid driver’s license
- Must be willing and able to submit to a Background Check and Drug Screen
