- Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm. However, this role will require over time, including weekends, as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The key responsibilities of the Quality Coordinator are active involvement on the processing floor including routine walkthroughs, audit processing and verification of product and equipment compliance, but are not limited to the following:
- Managing and updating quality systems (Safety Chain);
- Complete monthly internal audits for designated areas, including both a physical audit and document review;
- Supporting continuous improvement of the SQF systems;
- Food Safety and Quality Fundamentals;
- Food Safety and Quality Plan;
- Sample ingredients, verify oil blends, inspect tankers, and work with the sales department to meet customer requests (documentation requests, audits, samples, etc.) and investigate customer complaints;
- Lead and participate in internal and external audits;
- Work with Quality management team to develop, implement, validate, verify, and maintain SQF prerequisite, food safety and food quality systems;
- Lead cross functional SQF, Food Safety/HACCP and Risk Assessment teams
- Partner with Plant Manager & Sales to investigate and respond to customer complaints.
WORK PERFORMED
The primary job duties of the Quality Coordinator include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Managing and updating quality systems daily;
- Creating and implementing training of associates;
- Performing internal audits;
- Sampling ingredients and environmental swabbing;
- Completing reports with information for senior sales group, customers, ownership, and other company decision makers as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- High School Diploma or GES required, college preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and order processing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM software preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 80 per week
