Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled, dependable, and detail-oriented Furniture Assembler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling a variety of high-quality furniture pieces while ensuring every product meets our standards for craftsmanship, accuracy, and durability. This position requires the ability to read work orders, use hand and power tools safely, and work efficiently with a variety of furniture components and materials.
In addition to furniture assembly, this role includes preparing completed products for shipment by carefully inspecting, packaging, labeling, and securing furniture to prevent damage during transit. The Furniture Assembler will also assist with loading and unloading delivery trucks, organizing outgoing shipments, and ensuring orders are accurately staged and loaded for delivery. Attention to detail, teamwork, and a commitment to quality are essential, as this position plays a vital role in delivering exceptional products and service to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Assemble furniture components as needed, ensuring structural integrity and aesthetic quality.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools
- Conduct thorough inspections of finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Load and unload trucks
Qualifications
- Proven experience in furniture Assembly or related fields is preferred but not required.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina for standing for extended periods and lifting materials as needed.
