The On-Site Safety Manager is responsible for ensuring a safe, compliant work environment for everyone by monitoring site activities, enforcing safety regulations, and promoting a culture of safety in a productive, positive way. As part of the team, the role involves conducting inspections, identifying hazards, and ensuring all workers follow established LME safety procedures.

Responsibilities
- Monitor daily worksite operations and enforce compliance with safety standards.
- Conduct daily site inspections and safety audits.
- Identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions daily.
- Enforce the use of PPE (e.g., Meters, Hard Hats etc.).
- Lead safety meetings, tailgate meetings, and training sessions.
- Investigate incidents, near-misses, prepare detailed reports, and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain federal, state, and locally required safety documentation, logs, and compliance records.
- Coordinate emergency response procedures and drills.
- Ensure subcontractors follow site safety rules.
- Heavy Equipment Compliance.
- Train crews on procedures that reduce accidents and injury.
- Coordinate with Superintendents on project planning to ensure safeguards and controls are in place.
Qualifications
- High school education.
- Minimum of 10 years relevant construction experience.
