House/Barn Employee – Full Time (1st Shift)
Weaver Brothers Inc. currently has openings for full-time House/Barn Employees. House/Barn Employees are responsible for the health, welfare, and proper operation of poultry houses/barns. This is a 1st shift position requiring 40–50 hours per week, with additional hours as needed.

Essential Functions
- Monitor, feed, water, ventilate, and observe the general health of the birds
- Move through cage and cage-free systems to observe bird behavior and conditions
- Make repairs and adjustments to feeders, water lines, ventilation, egg collection, manure scrapers, and belt systems
- Catch loose birds within cage systems as needed
- Gather egg samples per house for weekly quality control checks
- Clean all areas of production as required
- Complete other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Ability to work in warm, dusty environments
- Ability to work in environments with manure and ammonia odors
- Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs. throughout the house/barn
- Ability to use ladders, steps, and railings on cage systems
- Ability to detect, assess, and communicate bird health concerns
