The Director of Sales will combine strong leadership and customer insight with a results-oriented mindset to open new opportunities, rebuild lapsed relationships, and strengthen Weaver’s presence in key markets.
The job responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
- Lead, coach, and manage the independent sales representative network to achieve growth and customer satisfaction goals.
- Develop and execute territory strategies that expand market presence and reinforce Weaver Brands’ position across key partners.
- Identify new business opportunities and re-engage former or inactive accounts.
- Set clear sales goals and accountability measures for representatives and partners.
- Conduct field visits, customer meetings, and business reviews to assess performance.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to align promotions and initiatives with market needs.
- Analyze sales data and trends to forecast performance and guide strategy.
- Represent Weaver Brands at customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
- 5–7 years of progressive sales leadership, including managing independent reps or multi-territory teams.
- Proven success in driving sales growth and building strong customer relationships.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in equine, agricultural, or outdoor lifestyle industries preferred.
- Ability to travel extensively (50% ); hybrid or flexible arrangements may be considered.
