What are the responsibilities and job description for the Solutions Engineer position at Weave?
- This position can be hybrid, in-office, or work-from-home (within the state of Utah) after training is completed
- Full-time positions only (40 working hours between 6am-6pm M-F)
- Reports to: Manager of Engineering - Solution Architecture
- Implementation of AI products - this includes working with Postman, running Python scripts and updating LLMs to suit our customer's needs.
- Assist in the automation and improvements to the implementation process.
- Resolve complex issues that might arise with the AI and other various features.
- Technical Skills:
- Broad Technical Knowledge: A fundamental understanding of areas like networking, database (SQL), and software development (preferred)
- Product Expertise: The ability to learn and gain a deep knowledge of the products
- Troubleshooting: Strong analytical and problem solving skills are necessary to identify and resolve technical issues
- Preferred Education or Certifications:
- Computer Science
- Information Technology
- Engineering
- CompTIA Network or Similar
- Soft Skills:
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are paramount for explaining complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Relationship Building: The ability to build rapport and trust with clients and internal teams is vital for success.
- Business Acumen: Understanding the business challenges of a customer and aligning technical solutions to their goals is a critical aspect of the role.
