What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Development Representative position at Weave?
The Lead Development Representative (LDR) is a performance based role for someone looking to get their start in sales. The LDR’s job is to develop Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) into Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) for the inbound sales teams. An LDR’s success is based on both the quantity and quality of leads sent to sales.

- This position will be hybrid: MTW 8am-5pm in office, Th/F flexible WFH after training
- Reports to: Director of Sales Development and Operations
- Make outbound calls to prospective customers that submitted a demo request.
- Take inbound phone calls from prospective customers.
- Handle inbound chats from prospective customers.
- Generate interest from prospective customers that originally were not ready to see a demo.
- Schedule demos for inbound sales teams.
- Participate in regular company and office meetings to share progress, identify blockers and drive resolution.
- 6 months of SDR or BDR experience.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
- Proven past sales experience.
- Proficient in Salesforce.
- Proficient in Chilipiper.
- Proficient in Google Sheets.
