Class A CDL Driver/Forklift Operator – 2nd Shift
WeatherTech Direct is seeking a well-qualified Class A CDL Driver/Forklift Operator to safely operate tractor-trailers and forklifts to transport raw material and finished goods between LOCAL company-owned facilities in the Bolingbrook, IL area. Hourly rate starts at $27/hour with a $1/hour shift premium.

As a Class A CDL Driver/Forklift Operator, you will
- Safely operate a vehicle by following company protocols and obeying state/local traffic laws at all times
- Ensure vehicle is in proper working condition and meets all DOT regulations by performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Report any mechanical or maintenance problems to shift leads or supervisors
- Use forklifts to transport various material within the manufacturing and warehouse facilities and to load and unload various inbound and outbound freight from the company truck
- Utilize RF Scanner and computer systems to ensure accurate delivery of goods
- Print and post-BOLs
- Perform all job functions in compliance with safety guidelines and company
- policies/procedures
- Operate in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
- Keep work area in a clean and orderly condition; clean and maintain equipment
- Communicate clearly and work as part of a team
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 3 years of steady experience related to the role as outlined above, including driving experience
- Valid Class A CDL Driver’s License, required DOT certification, and a clean driving record
- Be registered in the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse database
- Experience operating a forklift
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
- Great attendance and punctuality
- Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and a positive attitude
- Ability to work well with and motivate a team
- Willing to work weekends and overtime, as business demands
- Be fluent in English
- Authorized to work in the United States
