Bookkeeper

WeatherTech Direct is seeking a well-qualified Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day accounting functions primarily focused on accounts payable/receivable, month-end close process, data entry, transaction posting, and financial reporting.

As a Bookkeeper, you will

• Manage and process all accounts payable functions, including invoice coding, approvals, and payment preparation
• Maintain vendor records and resolve payment or invoice discrepancies
• Manage and process all accounts receivable functions, including invoicing customers
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations and supporting schedules
• Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries and accruals
• Generate and review financial reports for accuracy and completeness
• Maintain organized electronic files
• Maintain fixed asset and depreciation schedules
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Participate in a variety of special projects and compiles an assortment of reports as requested
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (preferred)
• Must have 5-10 years of accounting experience; strong accounts payable and general ledger background
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel
• Proven experience handling confidential financial data

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated, reliable, and capable of working independently and with a team in a fast-paced environment, with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
• Strong work ethic, time management skills, and organizational skills

• Ability to work flexible and additional hours as necessary
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
