Weatherly Inn is seeking an individual to fill a full-time position washing dishes in our beautiful Assisted Living Community. Am shift 6am-2pm Tuesday through Saturday varies as needed; must have weekend availability.
JOB SKILLS (Abilities essential to the job.)
- Read, write, speak and understand English.
- Lift 50 pounds and carry 35 pounds.
- Push 250 pound resident in wheelchair or cart of same weight.
- Sit, stand, walk, squat, and bend at waist multiple times a shift.
- Perform repetitive arm/hand movement & reach above shoulder.
- Proficient at operating: extractor, vacuum, culinary & dish equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: GED or High School Graduation preferred.
- Experience: 1 year in same or job related field preferred.
- Certificates: Food Handlers (within 14 days) required.
- Proficient at multitasking, details, organization, teamwork.
- Must have clean background check
GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (Basic essentials of the position)
- Learn to know special needs of residents and report changes in behavior (physical or emotional) to nursing.
- Be familiar with and follow Employee Handbook, Performance Expectations and specific job duties.
- Able to receive/return routine phone calls from TWI within 24 hours; urgent within 4.
- Be familiar with and follow Employee Handbook and General Requirements.
- Report immediately any on the job injury to supervisor or charge nurse.
- Maintain a clean work environment.
SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Wash, dry and store all china, glasses, and silverware.
- Bus tables in an emergency.
- Assist with meal preparation.
- Washing pots and pans.
- Set up salads for meals, catering items and snacks.
- Clean and maintain dish room; complete Daily Cleaning Schedule.
- Perform duties scheduled for particular shift.
- Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.'

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
