Rig Systems Specialist III deliver exceptional service quality in the oil and gas industry. In this dynamic role, you'll troubleshoot complex technical issues, optimize rig systems performance, and serve as the key interface with clients at well sites. Senior specialists will mentor junior team members while applying extensive knowledge to improve product quality and operational procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze data to recommend optimal services and solutions for rig systems
- Perform engineering checks on client locations including calculations and software computations
- Manage installation of complex equipment and services in field environments
- Test, operate, and maintain specialized tools according to established procedures
- Lead equipment failure investigations and contribute to Root Cause Analysis reports
- Serve as the primary interface with clients at well sites
- Develop and maintain positive client relationships to ensure repeat business
- Interpret technical data for client representatives to optimize services
- Manage Weatherford personnel at well sites during service assignments
- Uphold the highest standards of safety, security, and environmental protection
- Participate in safety meetings, Job Hazard Analysis, and promptly report issues
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, and industry best practices
- 2½-4 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry
- High School Diploma
- Strong knowledge of mechanics, electricity, electronics, pneumatics, and/or hydraulics
- Proficiency in mathematics, basic physics, and computer fundamentals
- Critical thinking and complex problem-solving abilities
- Technical Certificate from accredited Technical/Vocational School
- Available on 24-hour call basis to respond to customer needs
- Travel requirement: 50-75% domestic and potentially international
- Physical capability to perform required field tasks
