This role offers growth opportunities from entry-level to senior positions, with increasing responsibilities and technical challenges as you advance. Senior specialists will mentor junior team members and contribute to improving product quality and operational procedures.
Responsibilities
- Uphold the highest standards of safety, security, and compliance with company policies and industry regulations
- Participate in daily operations and safety meetings, including toolbox talks and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA)
- Maintain equipment and work areas in safe, presentable conditions
- Monitor and analyze data to recommend optimal services and solutions
- Plan jobs, prepare tools and equipment, execute services, and submit all required documentation
- Provide 24-hour on-call support to meet customer needs
- Test, operate, and maintain tools according to work instructions and safety procedures
- Develop and maintain positive client relationships to ensure repeat business
- Manage inventory and supplies required at well sites
- Participate in equipment failure investigations and root cause analysis
- For intermediate and senior roles: Perform engineering checks on location and manage installation of complex equipment
- For senior roles: Provide technical guidance to management and interpret data for client representatives
- Understanding of mechanics, electricity, electronics, pneumatics, and/or hydraulics
- Mathematical aptitude and basic knowledge of physics and chemistry
- Computer literacy and data analysis capabilities
- Critical thinking, active learning, and complex problem-solving abilities
- Strong reading, writing, and communication skills
- Effective time management and decision-making aligned with company policies
- Quality control analysis to ensure services meet required standards
- Customer service orientation and relationship management
- Physical capability to perform required field tasks
- Ability to anticipate problems and implement solutions
- Technical proficiency in operating tools and machinery
- 1-2.5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry
- High School Diploma
- Willingness to travel domestically and potentially internationally (50-75%)
- Technical Certificate from an accredited Technical/Vocational School
- Previous experience with field operations in challenging environments
- Knowledge of Weatherford products and services
