- Specialty: Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery
- Discipline: Nurse Practitioner
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Employment Type: Locum Tenens
- 40 guaranteed hours per week -- 5 8-hour shifts or 4 10-hour shifts
- 1 - 2 OR cases daily, 5 - 15 total patients including ICU and step-down
- Call schedule 1:3 -- primarily OR coverage with occasional weekend rounding
- Cases include CABG, valves, aneurysms, and thoracic procedures
- Primary duties: OR first priority, floor rounding when not in surgery
- ICU and step-down unit coverage
- Emergency cases include dissections and urgent cardiac procedures
- EVH (Maquet Hemapro) experience required
