Summary
We are looking for an experienced, entrepreneurial leader to build and run our advisor recruiting and integration function from the ground up. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role that sits at the intersection of business development, M&A, and operations — reporting directly to senior leadership and working alongside the CEO and executive team.
The right person is equally comfortable sourcing and closing wirehouse advisors with $400M AUM as they are building the infrastructure, processes, and team needed to onboard and integrate them at scale. This is not a staffing role — it's a strategic business development and corporate development function with meaningful equity upside.

We're proud to offer a competitive salary, PTO & paid holidays, 401(k) with match, and more. The base salary range for this position is $195,000 – $260,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.

Responsibilities
Advisor Recruiting
- Own end-to-end advisor recruiting strategy, pipeline management, and conversion
- Source, qualify, and close wirehouse advisors managing $400M in AUM
- Manage external recruiter and search firm relationships
- Lead compensation negotiations and LOI process
- Build and maintain a prospect database targeting 100 qualified advisors to support 5-year recruitment goals
- Design and own the end-to-end advisor integration experience from signed LOI through full operational onboarding
- Serve as primary point of contact for newly recruited advisors throughout the transition
- Drive cross-functional alignment across client services, marketing, investments, data operations, compliance, and technology
- Support due diligence, custodial integration, data transfer and validation, and workflow training
- Partner with senior leadership on RIA acquisition opportunities, including sourcing, diligence, and integration planning
- Apply organic recruiting frameworks to inorganic growth, ensuring consistency across advisor transitions and firm acquisitions
- Help build the infrastructure, playbooks, and processes that support Wealthspire's broader corporate development strategy
- 10 years in wealth management, financial services business development, or a related field
- Track record working with or recruiting wirehouse advisors
- Prior exposure to M&A, integration, or corporate development in a financial services context strongly preferred
- Ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder processes simultaneously
- Exceptional relationship skills with advisors, executives, and internal teams
- Entrepreneurial — comfortable building structure where none exists
- RIA or wirehouse background preferred (Morgan Stanley, Merrill, UBS, Wells a plus)
