About the Role



We are seeking a sharp, resourceful, and proactive Executive Assistant / Chief of Staff to serve as the right hand to our CEO. This is a high-visibility hybrid role that combines executive support with strategic operational impact. You will manage the CEO's time and inbox, own the production of board materials, build and track KPI dashboards, shape external brand presence across LinkedIn, and partner with marketing on campaigns and content. If you are equal parts organized operator, polished communicator, and creative thinker, this role is for you. This is an in-person role based in our New York City office, with flexibility for occasional remote work.



Responsibilities



  • Executive Support & Calendar Management
  • Own the CEO's calendar end-to-end—triaging, scheduling, and protecting time across internal meetings, board engagements, investor conversations, and personal commitments.
  • Serve as gatekeeper and liaison—managing inbound requests, drafting correspondence, and representing the CEO professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate complex domestic—including flights, hotels, ground transportation, itineraries, and on-the-ground logistics.
  • Run point on expense management, reimbursements, and vendor coordination on behalf of the CEO.
  • Anticipate needs—ensuring the CEO is consistently prepared with briefing materials, agendas, talking points, and follow-ups for every meeting.


  • Board Materials & Strategic Communications
  • Lead the creation of board decks and investor updates—drafting, designing, and refining presentations in partnership with the CEO, CFO, and department heads.
  • Manage the end-to-end board meeting process—from scheduling and agenda building to pre-reads, minute-taking, and action-item follow-through.
  • Prepare executive memos, quarterly business reviews, and all-hands content that translate complex business context into clear, compelling narratives.
  • Maintain the board portal and shareholder communications with accuracy and discretion.


  • KPI Tracking, Reporting & Operational Insight
  • Build, maintain, and evolve executive dashboards that track company KPIs across revenue, marketing, product, and operations.
  • Partner with Finance and department leads to gather, validate, and synthesize data into weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting.
  • Translate data into insight—surfacing trends, risks, and opportunities that inform CEO decision-making.
  • Drive accountability on OKRs and strategic initiatives by tracking progress, flagging slippage, and coordinating cross-functional follow-ups.


  • Marketing & Brand Support
  • Collaborate on marketing, content calendars, and brand initiatives where executive voice, approval, or input is needed.
  • Contribute to messaging, copywriting, and creative review for internal and external communications.
  • Support event planning and execution for industry conferences, investor events, customer dinners, and company off-sites.
  • Coordinate with PR, design, and agency partners on deliverables involving the CEO.


  • LinkedIn & Executive Brand Management
  • Own the CEO's LinkedIn presence—drafting posts, managing the content calendar, and engaging with the network in the CEO's voice.
  • Grow and steward the executive audience through thoughtful posting cadence, engagement strategy, and network development.
  • Monitor inbound LinkedIn messages and connection requests—triaging, responding, and surfacing opportunities that require the CEO's direct attention.
  • Track performance and iterate—measuring content engagement, follower growth, and thought-leadership impact.


  • Chief of Staff Responsibilities
  • Run the CEO's weekly operating rhythm—including leadership team meetings, one-on-ones, and strategic planning sessions.
  • Lead special projects on behalf of the CEO—from strategic research to cross-functional initiatives that don't have a clear owner.
  • Act as a trusted thought partner while exercising absolute discretion with confidential information.
  • Identify operational gaps and drive improvements to how the executive office and broader company operate.



Qualifications



  • 5–8 years of experience in an Executive Assistant, Chief of Staff, or hybrid EA/CoS role, ideally supporting a CEO or founder at a high-growth company.
  • Demonstrated experience building board decks, investor updates, and executive presentations in PowerPoint, Keynote, or Google Slides.
  • Strong working knowledge of marketing fundamentals—content, campaigns, brand voice, and social—with prior experience supporting or operating within a marketing function.
  • Proven track record managing complex executive calendars and inboxes with precision, speed, and judgment.
  • Hands-on experience building KPI dashboards and reporting in tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, Notion, Airtable, Looker, Tableau, or similar.
  • Experience actively managing an executive's LinkedIn presence, including ghostwriting posts and growing audience engagement.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write in the CEO's voice.
  • Extreme attention to detail paired with strong project management instincts.
  • High EQ, unflappable under pressure, and comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
  • Absolute discretion and integrity when handling confidential information.
  • Based in the New York City metro area and able to work on-site at our NYC office.



Preferred Skills



  • Experience at a venture-backed startup, private equity firm, investment fund, or high-growth technology company.
  • Prior exposure to fundraising processes, investor relations, or capital markets.
  • Design sensibility and comfort iterating in Figma, Canva, or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with CRM, marketing automation, or analytics platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Analytics, etc.).

Salary : $125,000 - $150,000
