Job Summary
We are a boutique financial planning firm based in Duxbury, MA, serving a small, high‑end clientele with personalized, high‑touch service. The Associate Advisor leads financial plan development, meeting preparation, follow‑up, and ongoing reviews to deliver consistently exceptional client experience for our 125‑household, $150M practice. This role focuses entirely on planning and client service—not business development— supporting the CEO and ensuring seamless management of our client relationships

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Financial Planning Support:
· Gather/verify data (statements, payroll, benefits, tax returns, insurance, estate documents)
· Build and update plans across retirement, cash flow, tax, estate, insurance and education planning.
· Produce accurate deliverables including summaries, recommendations, and scenario comparisons.
· Maintain documented planning assumptions and ensure all rationale is clearly recorded.
Meeting Preparation and Follow-Up
· Prepare client briefs, agendas, and review materials with precision.
· Attend meetings escalating to leading portions as experience develops.
· Capture notes, decisions, risks, and action items; own post-meeting execution with strong follow-through.
Implementation Oversight:
· Translate recommendations into actionable steps and coordinate with custodians, internal staff, and external partners.
· Track progress, minimize errors, and ensure all work is completed and documented thoroughly.
Investment & Process Support
· Support the investment monitoring process, watchlists, model updates, and documentation standards.
· Assist with preparing clear, concise, investment communications for clients.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree.
· CFP® preferred (or willing to pursue).
· FINRA Series 6 or 7 registration, and Series 63/65, or Series 66.
· Strong organization, precision, and follow-through.
· Experience with financial planning and investment software is a plus.
Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
