You will perform due diligence on investment products, develop and present investment outlook materials, and update economic and market metrics. Responsibilities:
- Perform initial and ongoing due diligence of investment products, including mutual funds, ETFs, and alternative investments
- Develop and present monthly and quarterly investment outlook materials, including detailed market analysis and forecasts
- Regularly update and analyze economic and market metrics, presenting findings to the Investment Committee for strategic decision-making
- Assist with preparing comprehensive financial plans in accordance with the firm's planning philosophy and client objectives
- Prepare financial reports and documents prior to client meetings and assist with new account paperwork
- Provide detailed portfolio analysis and assist with trades as directed
- Collaborate directly with CPAs, actuaries, wholesalers, and other industry professionals to provide customized client solutions
- Assist in the onboarding process for new clients, working closely with the fund administrator and other service providers as needed
- Support additional projects and initiatives as required by the firm
- Assist with additional projects as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of investment research and analysis experience; including mutual funds and ETFs
- Preferred or willingness to pursue: SIE and Series 7 (training provided)
- Excellent attention to detail, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
- Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and team members.
- Excellent follow-up skills with a proactive approach to tasks and responsibilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrates initiative, identifying areas for improvement and taking steps to address them effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other office tools.
