Immediate opening for Civil Litigation Attorney
Weakley & Arendt, PC is searching for a full-time attorney with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in civil litigation. Experience with public entity or employment litigation is a plus. This job is ideal for someone who is independent, dependable, and detail oriented.
Job Responsibilities:
Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other legal documents.
Conduct online research.
Defend clients in depositions; take depositions of opposing parties and witnesses.
Possess strong and persuasive legal writing skills and oral advocacy skills.
Prepare trial documents including trial briefs and motions in limine.
Provide written recommendations and case analysis for appropriate file handling strategy.
Assist in trial preparation and trial.
