About the Position
We are hiring compassionate and reliable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide one-on-one personal supports to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy helping others live independently, stay active in their community, and reach personal goals.
What You’ll Do
- Support individuals with daily living skills and personal care (as needed)
- Assist with community outings, appointments, and social activities
- Encourage independence, communication, and skill-building
- Follow person-centered plans and safety guidelines
- Complete documentation and progress notes
- Provide respectful, reliable, and consistent support
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience as a DSP, caregiver, CNA, or human services worker is a plus
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required
- Ability to support individuals with varying needs
- Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills
- Must pass background checks and required trainings
Pay: $18.40 per hour
