Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and efficient Mail Carrier to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering mail and packages to customers in a timely and professional manner. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about customer service and enjoys being outdoors. We would like carrier to stay within 10-15miles radius from 502 MULCAHY AVE, DAMON post office. As well to assist in finding and training of a backup person in case of vacay or any emergency. Contractor will get paid daily rate with start date of January 30, 2025 once hired.
Duties:
- Deliver mail and packages to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Sort and organize mail and packages for delivery.
- Use a variety of vehicles, including box trucks and vans, to transport mail and packages.
- Load and unload packages from vehicles.
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure that customers are satisfied with their delivery experience.
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe and secure delivery environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Keep accurate records of deliveries and maintain a high level of accuracy.
- Operate a courier service to deliver packages and documents to customers.
- Load and unload packages from a warehouse environment.
- Deliver packages to customers using a van.

- Delivery driver experience
- Courier experience
- Warehouse experience
- Van driver experience
- Experience with moving and transportation of heavy and bulky packages
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to follow safety protocols
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift and move packages of varying sizes and weights
- Valid driver's license
Excellent communication back to the postmaster
Will have a background check done
