Overview
We are seeking a male DSP for an Individual in Oak Ridge, NJ. Flexible hours 2-3 days per week to take Individual into the community for various activities and companionship.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist client in the community with various activities.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Support community outings and activities.
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and positive environment.
- Deliver hands-on assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
- Support clients emotional well-being through engaging activities, companionship, and personalized care tailored to individual needs.
- Support independence, community participation, and meaningful daily activities
- Follow all agency policies, procedures, and applicable New Jersey DDD requirements.
- Complete accurate daily documentation and ISP notes.
Qualifications
- Previous DSP or direct-care experience preferred.
- Dependable, patient, compassionate, and professional.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to complete required background checks and applicable training.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred, if required for the position.
- Must be willing to follow the individual's support plan and agency procedures.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
