This is a hands-on, fast-paced role involving equipment operation, power tools, and the handling of heavy materials. Benefits Begin Day OneWhat You’ll DoGeneral Production & OperationOperate industrial furnace safely and efficientlySupport other plant operations when the furnace is not running (approximately 2 weeks per month)Operate cranesOperate power tools and hand toolsPerform torch cuttingMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentFollow safety procedures and all work instructionsDisassembly WorkDisassemble small and large transformersRemove and drain oil from unitsRemove coils from transformersOperate small and large hydraulic pressesOperate small and large hydraulic shearsClimb ladders and work at heightsLift and move up to 50 lbs regularlyQualificationsMature, dependable, and safety-consciousAbility to follow instructions with strong attention to detailComfortable working independently or as part of a teamFlexibility to work various shifts, including nights or weekends as neededWillingness to learn and cross-train across departmentsAbility to stay focused without distractions (including personal devices)Must provide own basic hand tools Shifts & Schedule Swing Shifts (rotate weekly):Day Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PMMiddle Shift: 10:30 AM – 7:00 PMAfternoon Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM (when furnace is running)Midnight Shift: 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM (when furnace is running)$0.35/hour for Afternoon and Midnight shifts once in a full-time role Other Shifts & Schedule include:Monday – Friday 7am-3:30pmOvertime available (not typically mandatory)
