Job Title: Pipe Tester
Location: Zanesville
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm
Pay: $15/hr
Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Pipe Tester to join our team. The Pipe Tester is responsible for inspecting and pressure-testing pipes and related components to ensure they meet quality and safety standards before shipment or installation.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate testing equipment to check pipes for leaks, cracks, or defects.
Perform hydrostatic, air, and other pressure tests in accordance with company and industry standards.
Record and maintain accurate test results and documentation.
Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and safe handling of pressurized systems.
Identify and report any non-conforming materials or equipment malfunctions.
Work collaboratively with production, quality control, and maintenance teams.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; technical training a plus.
Ability to read and understand basic blueprints, schematics, or testing procedures.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Physically able to lift up to 20lbs and stand for extended periods.
Must be able to stand constant twisting and moving
Welding experience is a plus but not a requirement
This position is TEMPORARY for 1-2 weeks.
