Our client is a highly respected and established builder specializing in high-end residential homes and select commercial projects throughout Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire. Known for their craftsmanship, professionalism, and long-standing relationships with top architects and clients, they consistently deliver award-winning projects that combine timeless design with modern construction excellence.
We are seeking a Superintendent with strong experience in residential and/or commercial construction to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, detail-oriented, and highly skilled at managing all aspects of a custom build, from site work through final finish.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily site operations for ground-up custom homes, extensive renovations, and boutique commercial projects.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Manage subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel; schedule and coordinate all phases of construction activity.
- Maintain site safety and enforce OSHA regulations and company policies.
- Communicate daily with project managers, architects, designers, and homeowners.
- Conduct regular quality control inspections and proactively address issues.
- Maintain detailed job site documentation, including daily logs, change orders, inspections, and punch lists.
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to overall planning and problem-solving.
- Foster positive client relationships through clear communication and professionalism on-site.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in high-end residential construction (ground-up, large-scale renovations, or custom homes).
- Strong knowledge of all phases of construction, from foundation through finish work.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and architectural drawings.
- Tech-savvy with project management software, daily reporting, and digital plan review.
- OSHA 30 certification strongly preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
