Job Description
The Nurturing Inclusive Community Environment (NICE) is a project of We Oppose Violence Everywhere Now (WOVEN) dedicated to ending violence through restorative practices, conflict resolution, SEL (Social Emotional Learning), and youth advocacy.
This role is a restorative practices position centered on helping students build positive relationships, repair harm, and develop lifelong SEL skills.

Responsibilities include:
- Implement all components of the N.I.C.E. program Social Emotional Learning, Interventions ( conflict resolution), and restorative practices during and after school sessions.
- First responder in crisis
- Design, develop, and facilitate multiple forms of circles in classrooms for grades 7-12th
- Engage students, faculty, and the community through culture-enhancing school events.
- Consistently document services and interactions on Google Drive.
- Represent the N.I.C.E. team at various school district and community events.
- Collaborate with teachers on classroom and behavioral management.
- Engage in ongoing professional development internally and externally.
- Actively participate in ongoing NICE staff meetings for continuous improvement
- Celebrating and monitoring student success
- Work with the evaluation team to collect impact and replication data.
Preferred skills:
- Bilingual Spanish or Haitian Creole
- Education/School Counseling/Mental Health or related field

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
