We are seeking a dependable and experienced Superintendent for an apartment complex in the Watertown N.Y. area. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in apartment preparation, building maintenance, and strong organizational and communication skills.
This is a full-time, on-site position with a set schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
Must have reliable transportation
Responsibilities
- Complete apartment turnover and routine maintenance tasks.
- Maintain building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, landscaping, and custodial duties.
- Respond promptly to work orders and maintenance requests.
- Work closely with the on-site manager to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Provide courteous, professional service to residents.
- Manage multiple maintenance and repair tasks efficiently.
Requirements
- Prior facilities or property maintenance experience with strong knowledge of building systems.
- Proficiency in painting, plumbing, electrical, and basic construction.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Customer service experience preferred.
- Pre-employment drug test required.
