Duties
- Perform thorough decontamination and sterilization of medical instruments and equipment using appropriate sterilization techniques and equipment.
- Manage inventory levels of sterilization supplies, ensuring all necessary materials are available for daily operations.
- Operate specialized sterilization machinery, including autoclaves, ultrasonic cleaners, and sterilizers, following manufacturer guidelines and safety protocols.
- Maintain detailed records of sterilization cycles, equipment maintenance, and quality assurance documentation to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Conduct routine inspections of sterilization equipment to identify malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
