Position Summary:
The HR Specialist provides comprehensive human resources support for facilities in Texas, Washington, and California. This role is responsible for managing the full-cycle HR process, including HRIS administration, onboarding and offboarding, personnel file maintenance, compliance, and employee support. The HR Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for new hires and facility leadership, ensuring a seamless employee experience and adherence to all legal and organizational requirements.
Education and Skills/Experience:
- Associate Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required. (Anyone with a Bachelor’s degree will be given priority).
- 2-3 years of human resources experience handling the following States Texas, Washington, and California required.
- 2–3 years of healthcare industry experience required.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute onboarding processes for all new employees in Texas, Washington, and California.
- Oversee the end-to-end onboarding experience, from pre-employment through the first 30 days of employment.
- Guide new hires through onboarding requirements, including completion of new hire paperwork, compliance training, employment verification, and I-9 processing.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for both new and current employees, and management, addressing HR-related questions and concerns.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee data within the HRIS.
- Ensure all employee documentation complies with federal, state, and organizational requirements, including regulatory paperwork and training records.
- Partner with facility management to collect and maintain departmental training documentation in personnel files.
- Cross-train on HR requirements for additional states to provide backup support as needed or time of coverage.
- Perform additional HR-related duties as assigned.

Work Schedule: (work schedule is subject to change based on business needs)
- Weekday - Monday through Friday.
- Work shift schedule - 11:00 am to 7pm EST
- Weekends as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
