About the Role
We are seeking an experienced AV Technician to support the installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and commissioning of Audio Visual and IT systems for corporate environments. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, collaborating with multiple trades, and delivering exceptional client experiences.
You will work closely with Project Managers and Operations teams to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications.

- High-quality AV and IT installations completed on time and within scope.
- Effective communication with project stakeholders and onsite teams.
- Strong attention to safety, documentation, and reporting.
- Proactive troubleshooting and problem resolution.
- Consistent adherence to project goals and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Pull and route cables through conduits, ceiling trays, and pathways.
- Perform cable management, rack building, equipment installation, and decommissioning.
- Mount and install displays, TVs, projectors, projection screens, speakers, cameras, microphones, and lighting systems.
- Conduct onsite and remote project assessments.
- Read and interpret design drawings, take measurements, and provide redlines when required.
- Upload, configure, and modify DSP and control system programming.
- Calibrate and optimize audio systems.
- Configure and troubleshoot networking equipment, including switches and routers.
- Enable/disable network ports and support network connectivity requirements.
- Maintain detailed project documentation and reporting.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and other onsite trades.
- Follow project schedules, PM instructions, and safety protocols.
Qualifications Required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in AV/IT installations.
- Experience with sound and video system installations.
- Proficiency with video conferencing platforms such as:
- Cisco Webex
- Google Meet
- Zoom
- Microsoft Teams
- Ability to lift and move AV equipment, climb ladders, crawl, kneel, and work in various installation environments.
- Spanish language proficiency.( nice to have )
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
Preferred
- Electronic Technician education or equivalent technical training.
- AV industry certifications (CTS, CTS-I, CTS-D, or similar).
- Experience with rack building.
- Experience with structured cabling and network infrastructure.
- Knowledge of acoustics and audio system calibration.
- Networking experience including switch and router configuration.
