The Gas Operations Supervisor/Senior Gas Operations Supervisor may be rotated to other work areas/functions within Customer Operations in order to address workload demands, gain valuable experience, and to develop an understanding and appreciation for other parts of the organization.

Job Responsibilities
- Supervisory tasks in Gas Operations related to emergency response, construction, design, planning, and scheduling for gas transmission and distribution systems.
- Overseeing the construction or maintenance activities related to the company’s transmission and distribution infrastructure within an assigned area.
- Give direction to employees and monitor employee performance
- Address employee performance issues.
- Responsible for building/grounds maintenance and improvements.
- Ensure that all customers’ needs are met in a safe, efficient and timely manner through the effective management/utilization of personnel, equipment, and materials.
- Ensure the safety of employees, customers, and contractors during all work applications.
- Visit work sites to observe crews and ensure work is being performed safely.
- Participate in community activities as a representative of the company.
- Engage employees to promote an inclusive workforce and team.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma, HSED, or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Five to 10 years experience in a distribution/construction operations trade and/or five to 10 years experience in supervision of direct reports.
- Working knowledge of union contracts and employee relationship building.
- Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with employees, contractors, and community groups.
- Strong communication and organizational skills are a benefit.

- Microsoft Office Knowledge.
- Technical training beyond high school is preferable
