Duties
- Efficiently pick items from inventory using barcode scanners, RF scanners, and order picker equipment to fulfill customer orders accurately.
- Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, cherry pickers, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and effectively.
- Pack products securely following packaging guidelines to prevent damage during transit while maintaining productivity standards.
- Load and unload shipments using appropriate heavy equipment, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols are followed.
- Manage inventory movement within the warehouse management system (WMS), including stock replenishment, stock rotation, and updating inventory records.
- Conduct shipping and receiving tasks with attention to barcode scanning for logistics accuracy and proper documentation.
- Adhere strictly to safety procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), manual handling techniques, and safe operation of all equipment involved in warehouse distribution.
Experience
- Previous experience working in a warehouse environment or distribution center is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to operate warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management systems efficiently.
- Hands-on experience with heavy equipment operation such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, or similar machinery is essential.
- Familiarity with order picking & packing processes, shipping & receiving procedures, and barcode scanning technology.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to manual handling, heavy lifting, and warehouse operations.
- Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and verifying shipment quantities are necessary.
- Experience supervising or coordinating warehouse activities is a plus but not required; willingness to learn warehouse management practices is important.

Pay: $18.30 - $21.40 per hour
