Janitor/Cleaner

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Janitor/Cleaner to maintain a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment across our facilities. In this role, you will be responsible for performing cleaning and custodial tasks that ensure all areas are spotless, organized, and well-maintained. Duties

• Perform routine cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies
• Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to maintain a professional appearance
• Handle industrial cleaning tasks including deep cleaning of large spaces or specialized equipment as needed
• Maintain cleanliness of windows, walls, ceilings, and fixtures to uphold high standards of hygiene and appearance
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting issues requiring professional attention
• Use commercial cleaning tools and supplies efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
• Support custodial operations by organizing supplies and ensuring all cleaning equipment is in good working order

Requirements

• Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, and industrial cleaning methods
• Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as floor buffers and extractors safely and effectively
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness in all cleaning tasks
• Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout shifts
• Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is a plus
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize daily tasks efficiently

Pay: From $13.00 per hour
