Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the dietary department, including meal planning, production, and service

• Supervise, train, and mentor dietary staff to ensure exceptional service and food quality

• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies, including food safety, sanitation, and nutrition guidelines

• Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our patients, residents, and staff

• Conduct inventory management and control of food, supplies, and equipment

• Collaborate with other departments, such as nursing, to ensure patient care and satisfaction

• Maintain accurate records and reports of dietary operations, including food production, waste, and inventory

Ideal Candidate

• Experience in dietary management or a related field

• Knowledge of food service management principles, food safety guidelines, and nutrition standards

• Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and train dietary staff

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly
