Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Personal Caregiver, located in Alsip, IL. The Personal Caregiver will provide essential daily living support to clients, including assistance with personal hygiene, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. The role also involves companionship, ensuring clients’ safety, providing emotional support, and facilitating recreational activities. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are vital to meet the unique needs of each client effectively.
Qualifications
- Experience with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Skills in meal preparation, housekeeping, and organization
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and empathetic demeanor
- Ability to effectively respond to emergencies and solve problems as they arise
- Previous caregiving experience or relevant certifications (e.g., CNA certification) are a plus
- Basic understanding of health and safety guidelines
- Physical stamina to assist with mobility support
