(WCAY) is a dedicated provider of Supported Living Services (SLS) and Adult Residential Facility (ARF) care for adults with developmental disabilities. Our mission is to empower individuals to lead meaningful, independent lives in a safe and supportive environment.We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and professional Direct Care Providers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for helping others, a strong work ethic, and the ability to provide individualized support to adults with varying behavioral, developmental, and emotional needs.Hourly pay is based on your DSP certification level: $18/hr with no DSP, $18.50/hr with DSP 1, and $19/hr with DSP 2.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide daily support and supervision to clients in their home and community environments.Assist clients with personal care, hygiene, meal preparation, and medication reminders.Support clients in developing independent living skills such as budgeting, housekeeping, and communication.Promote inclusion and community participation by accompanying clients to appointments, activities, and social outings.Document daily progress notes and report any behavioral or health concerns promptly to supervisors.Implement individualized service plans (ISPs) and ensure all client needs are met in compliance with Regional Center and Licensing standards.Maintain a safe and respectful living environment that encourages client dignity and choice.Participate in ongoing training sessions, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities.WCAY ShiftsWCAY operates 24/7 to provide continuous care. Available shifts may include:Morning: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PMAfternoon/Evening: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PMOvernight: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AMShift availability varies by location. Flexible scheduling options are available based on operational needs and employee availability.QualificationsEducation: High school diploma or equivalent (required).Experience: Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, mental health challenges, or behavioral needs is preferred but not required—training will be provided.Certifications:CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain).CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification preferred.Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation.Skills & Attributes:Compassionate, patient, and dependable.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Ability to document clearly and follow care plans accurately.Flexible and adaptable to different client needs and home settings.Company DescriptionWCAY Inc.
