Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years experience in plumbing and extensive residential repair expertise. As a Journeyperson Plumber, you will work on various projects, including residential and commercial sites, providing exceptional service to our clients. We work with many older homes, so an ability to solve problems and resilience will serve you well on the job. Excellent communication and organization skills are an absolute must-have. Duties

• Install and repair residential and commercial plumbing in accordance with state, local, and international plumbing code.
• Perform remodeling tasks related to plumbing, ensuring quality workmanship throughout the process.
• Collaborate with others and communicate your work clearly to customers.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various plumbing tasks.
• Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications and requirements.
• Conduct field service calls to diagnose plumbing issues and provide effective solutions.
• Demonstrate proficiency in welding techniques as needed for specific plumbing applications.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members as needed.
• Stay current with industry developments and advancements in plumbing techniques and technology.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Journeyperson Plumber with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• In-depth knowledge of construction plumbing practices and principles.
• Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex plumbing systems.
• Be able to lift and carry heavy tools and equipment and work for extended periods without fatigue.
• Be able to crawl through tight spaces, climb ladders, and work in awkward positions.
• Ability to see and hear clearly to detect leaks, diagnose issues, and communicate effectively with clients.
• Ability to work in small, enclosed spaces, such as crawlspaces and attics.
• Experience working on construction sites with an understanding of safety protocols.
• Familiarity with carpentry skills is a plus, enhancing versatility on job sites.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are crucial for success in this role.
