I am currently working with a highly respected New York law firm who are looking to add a Senior Bankruptcy Associate to their established and sophisticated bankruptcy practice.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced bankruptcy attorney looking to handle complex restructuring and insolvency matters, work on sophisticated Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 cases, and join an established team in Manhattan.

• Sophisticated Bankruptcy Practice: Work alongside experienced attorneys on a broad range of bankruptcy, restructuring, liquidation, and insolvency matters.
• Complex Chapter 7 & Chapter 11 Work: Gain exposure to sophisticated bankruptcy matters involving reorganizations, liquidations, and creditor-related issues.
• Experienced Legal Team: Work closely with senior attorneys on complex matters while taking meaningful responsibility for your own cases and assignments.
• Broad Matter Exposure: Opportunity to work across different areas of bankruptcy, with foreclosure experience also valued.

The Role

• Handle Bankruptcy Matters: Manage and support sophisticated bankruptcy matters across Chapter 7, Chapter 11, and related proceedings.
• Advise Clients: Provide legal advice to clients throughout bankruptcy, restructuring, liquidation, and insolvency proceedings.
• Manage Complex Cases: Take responsibility for significant aspects of bankruptcy matters, including case strategy, filings, negotiations, and court-related work.
• Work on Reorganizations & Liquidations: Assist with complex Chapter 11 reorganizations and Chapter 7 liquidation matters.
• Collaborate with the Team: Work alongside experienced bankruptcy attorneys on sophisticated matters while managing multiple active cases.
