The Role
- Represent banks, institutional lenders, and borrowers in secured lending and broader finance transactions
- Lead and support leveraged finance and commercial lending matters from initial structuring through closing
- Draft, edit, and negotiate loan agreements, security documents, and related finance documentation
- Prepare and review intercreditor agreements, commitment papers, and closing deliverables for complex deals
- Work closely with partners and clients, demonstrating commercial judgment, initiative, and strong teamwork
Ideal Candidate Profile
The firm is seeking a mid level Finance Associate Attorney with:
- 3 to 6 years of law firm finance experience focused on secured lending transactions
- Experience representing both lenders and borrowers in sophisticated finance matters
- Proficiency drafting and negotiating loan, security, intercreditor, commitment, and closing documents
- Bar admission in Massachusetts or eligibility to waive into Massachusetts
- Strong business sense, client service orientation, initiative, and commitment to collaborative teamwork
Compensation & Benefits
- $260,000 to $390,000 base salary, depending on experience
