Financial Analyst

Your Tasks

As Financial Analyst (f/m/d) you will be part of the Finance team at We Are Era and work closely together with our management team & Shared Service Center of RTL. You will take ownership of some of our key financial processes which include regular reports for various business units, forecasting and identification for improvement of KPIs. Your tasks entail regular communication with many other teams within all We Are Era entities across Europe.

Forecasting & Financial Planning:

• Preparation of revenue, cost, and profit forecasts (including scenario analyses)
• Rolling forecasts at project and company level
• Derivation of opportunity and risk assessments for management
  
  

Project Controlling & Profitability Analysis:

• Analysis of project profitability (actual vs. budget)
• Margin analyses at GP1, GP2, and contribution margin level
• Identification of variances including driver analysis
• Development of clear decision-making bases for pricing, staffing, and scope.
  
  

Rate Cards & Pricing Structure:

• Development and maintenance of rate cards
• Ensuring defined minimum margins
• Support in the financial evaluation of new proposals and business cases
  
  

Management Reporting & KPI Logic:

• Further development of a transparent KPI system (margin, contribution margin, EBIT, etc.)
• Structuring audience-oriented management reporting
• Ensuring consistent financial definitions across the company
• Close collaboration with RTL Group Controlling
  
  

System & Tool Logic (e.g., MOCO):

• Ensuring consistent financial logic in relevant tools
• Validation of data quality and reporting structures
• Contribution to the optimization of reporting processes
  
  

Identification of Efficiency Potentials:

• Analysis of cost structures and resource allocation
• Identification of efficiency and cost-saving measures
• Quantification of operational optimization potential
  
  

Your Profile

• Academic degree in Finance, Business Administration or similar degree
• Good understanding of accounting principles and ideally first experience in that area
• Good knowledge of MS Excel, ideally first experience in SAP
• Great communication skills
• Structured and detailed way of working as well as attention to detail: ability to break down complex processes into actionable steps
• Proactive and not afraid to take initiative
• Excellent English language skills
• Fluency in German is a bonus
