Job Summary
Monday-Friday position - 7am-2pm shift time 

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cafeteria Food Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while assisting in food preparation, serving meals, and maintaining a clean and organized cafeteria environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry and a passion for hospitality.

Duties

• Cook,Prepare and serve food items in accordance with established recipes and portion sizes.
• Ensure the cafeteria area is clean, organized, and compliant with food safety standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with patrons and addressing their needs promptly.
• Assist in catering events and banquets as required, ensuring high-quality food presentation.
• Handle food safely and efficiently, adhering to all health regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy meal periods.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the overall operation of the cafeteria.

Experience

• Previous experience in a cafeteria or restaurant setting is preferred.
• Fine dining experience is a plus, along with knowledge of food preparation techniques.
• Customer service skills are essential for interacting with guests effectively.
• Experience in catering or banquet services is advantageous.
• Familiarity with dietary aide responsibilities and food handling practices is beneficial.
• Barista experience is a nice-to-have for those interested in beverage service within the cafeteria environment.
