PLANT CONTROLLER
WCW Inc., is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Plant Controller to oversee the financial operations of our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with expertise in regulatory reporting and compliance. This role requires a deep understanding of financial concepts, budgeting, and cash management, as well as proficiency in excel and Quick Books. The Plant Controller will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting and maintaining the integrity of our financial systems.
Responsibility:
- Maintain all aspects of accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger accounting.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports in accordance with GAAP, IFRS. and other regulatory standards.
- Oversee balance sheet reconciliation and ensure accurate account reconciliation processes.
- Conduct financial analysis and forecasting to support strategic decision-making.
- Implement and monitor internal controls to ensure compliance with SOX regulations.
- Collaborate with management to develop budgets and financial plans that align with organizational goals.
- Provide technical accounting support for complex transactions and ensure adherence to financial policies.
- Maintain accurate records using accounting software such as Quickbooks.
- Lead audits by preparing necessary documentation and liaising with external auditors.
Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate accounting or public accounting roles.
- Strong knowledge of non-profit and governmental accounting practices is a plus.
- Proven experience in cash management, financial report writing, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Familiarity with double entry bookkeeping principles and general ledger reconciliation processes.
- Excellent analytical skills with a strong understanding of financial management concepts.
- Proficient in suing various financial software tools for reporting and analysis, mainly excel and QB.
- Strong communication skills to effectively present financial information to stakeholders.
