Field Service Technician Responsibilities
As a Field Service Technician with WCTractor, you will apply your technical expertise and exceptional customer service skills to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term retention. This position focuses on servicing hay equipment, including round balers, square balers, and related machinery.
Key responsibilities include:

Provide on-site service and customer support during field visits.

Conduct diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, and testing of equipment.

Troubleshoot technical issues and determine effective solutions.

Prepare timely and detailed service reports.

Understand customer requirements and offer appropriate solutions.

Educate customers on equipment operation and maintenance best practices.

Operate the service vehicle in a safe and professional manner.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Qualifications:
Field Service Technician Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record for insurance purposes.

Proven field service experience with strong mechanical aptitude.

Ability to lift up to 55 pounds and work on your feet for up to eight hours a day.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

A technical degree is preferred but not required.
